Cambridge researchers have designed and tested a third thumb – a controllable, prosthetic extra digit – on members of the public, who had little trouble in learning how to use it to pick up and manipulate objects.

Constatation de la systémique : un petit avantage à court terme produit un gros désagrément à long terme, que l’on compense en s’entêtant dans l’erreur… L’erreur est un formidable moteur du changement. C’est peut-être ce qui a fait de l’homme un explorateur. L’erreur est humaine, avais-je l’habitude de dire.
